The “Hot” Potato!

Suddenly everyone decides to jump on the “price of energy” bandwagon and has an opinion on it. Even politicians from the Jurassic period have felt the need to join in! What gets me is that it takes just one person, in this case, Ed Milliband to stand

up to the energy giants and despite the majority of the country behind him, his counterparts still do not feel the need to listen to common sense.

Additionally, on the same day Ed makes his speech on this subject, the economist gurus predicted those very energy masters would increase their prices in before the next general election.

Lo & behold – we have an average of 10% increase already!!! It’s not a pleasant thought that we will soon reach a position where people will need to think about whether to sacrifice daily essentials such as food or perhaps new clothing for their children just to sit in a light room or in a warm house.

To rub salt in the public’s wounds we are now told we will be subsidising a new nuclear power plant with the option for the supplier to increase prices further!….how nice!

I’ve just switched energy supplier online a few moments ago and saved over £70 a month. I suggest you do the same before we get trapped into rocketing gas & electricity prices. Not an advert, but try www.uswitch.com . By my reckoning, if we all turn up the heat by switching now to a cheaper supplier then it can only be bad news for the big 6?

Think about it.
